Book Tag

The TBR Tag

Hello! Today’s post is a bit different from usual. I decided to do this tag after reading the posts by Way Too Fantasy and Kira Jeanette. Hope you’ll enjoy it…

How do you keep track of your TBR list?

I don’t really keep track and just know the books I’ve read and the ones I haven’t yet. It’s really easy for my ebooks since I use the filters on the Kindle app so that only the books to be read appear.

Is your TBR mostly print or ebook?

It’s 50-50. I prefer print books but due to the lack of space and the amazing sales on ebooks, I recently increased my collection of the latter 😉

How do you determine which book from your TBR to read next?

I’m clearly a mood reader. So, each month I’ll take several books from my overall TBR that I think I’ll want to read. And each month in my wrap-ups, books will have disappeared and others will have been added. The only exception is with NetGalley books since I have a specific period of time to read them. In this case, I’ll still request books according to my mood but then stick to them!

Name a book that you recently added to your TBR list

Difficult since my TBR is updated quite often! The most recent ones would be Magic by V.E. Schwab and Loch Down Abbey by Beth Cowan-Erskine.

Is there a book that’s on your TBR strictly because of its beautiful cover?

Clearly, Descendants of the Crane by Joan He. I bought it without knowing a lot and principally because of its cover!

Is there a book on your TBR that you never plan reading?

Honestly, not really. I have books to read that aren’t my highest priority but I’ve always planned to get to them one day.

Name an unpublished book on your TBR that you’re excited for.

There’re some books I’m excited for, so I’ll stick to 3 of them:

  • House of Sky and Earth by Sarah J. Maas
  • Our Violent Ends by Chloe Gong
  • The Monarchs by Kass Morgan & Danielle Paige

Is there a book on your TBR that basically everyone has read but you?

Undoubtedly, The Invisible Life of Addie Larue by V. E. Schwab (and it’s not the only one)

Is there a book on your TBR that everyone recommends you read?

The answer for this one is also The Invisible Life of Addie Larue 😀

A book on you’re TBR you’re very excited to read.

I have so many I’m excited for! The Hand on the Wall by Maureen Johnson (the finale of the Truly Devious series), The Bone Shard Daughter by Andrea Steward, Blood and Honey by Shelby Mahurin… I can go on like that for a long time!

The number of books on your TBR shelf.

More than 100… That’s so depressing (and thrilling at the same time)!

I’m glad I found this tag since I loved doing it so much! Hope you’ll enjoy it and tell me if you’re planning to do it too 😉
